There's a very neat fundraiser for the humanitarian organization Right To Play through the company mimiTENS. They created a line of kids mittens – they're really cute – inspired by Right To Play athletes Clara Hughes, Steve Omischl and Simon Whitfield.

There are so many little things that you really don't pay attention to when you're shopping for your first baby. Just last night I was standing and looking at the baby swing thinking, "ugh...here's to another 6 months of buying batteries" because the swing we have doesn't plug in.

In my initial review, Mimitens were already the very best mittens for infants and toddlers hands down. Imagine my utter surprise to hear, that these warm fisted favorites of mine were new and improved.

Now here is a concept I wish I would have created… mittens that stay put, really. They're mittens with long, stretchy cuffs that reach the elbow, making sure that no matter how much your child wriggles, runs, or plays, those mittens won't budge, and they won't fill with snow either.

For the little ones who can't keep mitts on, mimiTENS are the latest and greatest for moms with kids who like to throw things around (because they won't be able to get these ones off).
