Yonge Street Mission offers help and support to people in need in Toronto through community centres, clothing resale, health services and housing assistance. Yonge Street Mission assists everyone who comes through their doors, strictly on the basis of need, through a staff of 100 and some 3,500 volunteers. They are dedicated to inspiring all people, regardless of colour, religion, culture, economic status, gender, social condition or sexual orientation, to achieve their full potential.

Last Christmas, I asked my kids if they could think of ways that our family might help other families. My eldest daughter suggested we give them mimiTENS. The ‘You are my Sunshine’ line features drawings by both my girls. 50% of profits from this collection will go to Yonge Street Mission as thanks for everything they do for the city we love.
